    Probably because they can't actually say the name of the video game for copyright reasons. Honestly I thought the amulet was Dark Cloud 2's, but regardless, slightly wonky dialogue is probably the least-important thing in this animation.

    Holy shit, you guessed right. The reference I gave for the amulet was indeed a Dark Cloud 2 reference! I mainly wanted to leave it ambiguous just to see if anyone would recognize the design (and I didn’t name it because the Atlamillia in DC2 doesn’t actually have cloning powers)
