I can understand having fetish characters, but what's the point of having dozens of them and making them all completely interchangeable in both physique and personality?

what you described just now sounds more like outright abuse, not a healthy S&M relationship. and your explanation of a "symbiotic" relationship sounds worryingly like codependency. i get that this comic is obviously not real life, but i think it's a little irresponsible to explain what's essentially S&M in a way that conflates with with honest-to-goodness emotional abuse.

a proper dom/sub relationship is built on trust and knowing that if anything ever goes to far, the partner will stop it and be there to support them. someone who abuses you emotionally doesn't do that; they undercut you, isolate you, and try to control and manipulate you.

maybe it wasn't your intention to say things how you did, but it's important we be clear about this, because with a lot of people's only introduction to S&M being porn and 50 Shades of Grey, there's a lot of dangerous misinformation out there

thank you for making this clear. I think that a lot of people should know that abuse in a relationship isn't normal and that they should seek help if they're in such a situation. There are a lot of people on planet earth that think this is okay, or that they're alone. The truth is that they're not alone, and there are tons of people around them that can help.
