Aztec Earth goddess. Culpeo, older piece. Mucha-style.

  • This must be her before her many children made her literally lose her head. She's often depicted with two snake heads facing each other, representing the rather bloody result of her decapitation as well as being a personification of her serpentine skirt (which she is named after).

    I think she looks better with her head still attached (as here), but that's just me.
