    I knooow T_T I drew their poses first and afterwards I was like "OOH THEY SHOULD BE PLAYING N64", so my options were either to draw them using the N64's ungodly dpad or draw the N64 controllers really huge

  • "Steve and John were trying to play it cool, pretending they're so open-minded that they don't mind dudes bonking on their couch while they were trying to play video games. Eventually the noises and anal sex stench were becoming simply too much to bear, though..."

    they're holding the controllers wrong ;-;

    Considering the shirt the one on the right is wearing, facial expression, look in his eyes, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't aware that he's even holding a controller with the amount of acid he probably ate.

  • I kind of want a shirt like the one the guy on the far right is wearing.

    Or Magical Tetris Challenge. Or Bust-A-Move 2. Actually puzzle games in general seemed to use that position more often. I actually vaguely remember the N64 manual calling it the "Base Hold" or something like that. The position we normally think of for the N64 controller was called the "Right Hold." There was also a "Left Hold," but I don't think there are any games that would ever have used it.

    Depends on the game. Some, like the south park game, you used the c-buttons to move.
    Pretty much. there was no right way to hold the things. the controller you never figured out how to hold. but would be damned if those things ever broke. They could survive gamers nowadays.

    Jeez. No love for Kirby 64? That one had a D-pad hold too.

    I love Kirby 64, but I always forget that it used the D-pad because I've only ever rented it back in the day. ;-;

  • Honestly, I would wear that t-shirt on the right every day. I'd pay a premium price for it too...

    PSST - SYNX ... making small batched of t-shirts is easily done online I'm pretty sure.

    Don't worry, just say that they are playing Tetrisphere and it'll be fine.

    Sin and Punishment uses it as an optional control scheme.
