Commission for Xane
Always fun to take commissions involving myself in the picture. :) Overall really happy with this - even for very simple backgrounds, they add a lot, and I'm excited to see where I get in a years time.
April 9th: Our dedicated FurID gallery is now live. Thank you all for the submissions to our little April Fool's prank, we hope you had as much fun as we did!
April 7th: It's that time again e621! The 2025 staff drive will be opening later this week! Please get your resumes and forklift licenses ready and keep an eye on the news/forums. Hope to see some fresh meat for the salt mines.
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

Technesaurus
MemberWe know for fact that dinosaurs had cloacas, and we know what extant related species genitalia look like (archosaurs.) It's an educated guess based on the little knowledge we have on dinosaur genitalia. I would understand the complaint if I had given them canine, human, horse genitalia, balls or an anus as many artists seem to do. But I haven't, this is as anatomically correct as one can reasonably get without a time machine since soft tissue rarely fossilizes.

Avian-King
MemberWe know they had cloacas indefinitely and in most if not all cases had some sort of phallus. there are loads of documents discussing this. But the conscensus being it is a trait that appears in the most basal members of the tree as well as more advanced forms- suggesting it is an ancestral characteristic.
And we can make an educated guess based on what we have on extant archosaurs. like ducks, ratites, crocs and kin (animals at the baser part of the ancestral tree that we still have access to)
The cloaca part is irrefutable; however, the design of the phallus will always be up for debate unless we find a cock for every species imagined, but the above image is one of the best interpretations based on the information we have.

MemberThey found the indentation of a female cloaca a while ago. Scientists say that shape is optimized for a phallus. I think most people see the "anatomical correct" tag more as "not a human, dog or horse dick" tag.

MemberPrehensile weiners are underutilized.
The “embracing” of them is adorable in a strange sense. I would like to see more of that in furry art.
