Moka belongs to a powerful lineage of pure-blooded vampires of which there are extremely few in Pangelia; which at first glance sounds great, but having a high power in "draculessence" brings more headaches than you think... To begin with, they have to be taking blood on a daily basis or their internal power will get out of control, and in some cases (like Moka's) it can be so overwhelming that it even harms the individual. That is why her father, concerned about his daughter's well-being, wanted to do everything possible to keep the "draculessence" at bay, but in those times the feuds between humans and demihumans were very strong, so he couldn't get the voluntary help of either of them and if he tried to take blood by force, it would only have made things worse. They needed a way to get blood easily and without the possibility of retaliation... and in those years there was only one place for it: "Naughty Vampire beauty", a nightclub that voluntarily offered these services to customers who voluntarily wished to experience it. Her father, with a heavy heart, proposed this solution to his daughter, who after weighing it, decided to accept it in order to ensure a somewhat more peaceful life for both her and her father. However, the first few months were a disaster... despite taking blood regularly, Moka's "draculessence" was extremely potent, causing her to behave coldly and irascibly with the more problematic clients. Fearing that this would get out of hand and she'd lose her job, Moka's father had a cross-shaped talisman forged. This would act as a catalyst, combined with his quenched bloodlust, to keep her vampiric powers at bay. Thus, Moka split into two (so to speak), with her kinder, gentler, and more playful self on one side and "Inner Moka," her "draculessence" unleashed and ready for action on the other. After the Grand Alliance, and seeing that there are other methods of obtaining blood these days, her father tried to get her out of the District, but the owner of all that land flatly refused, as they had an irrevocable contract... Moka had to continue working there no matter what...
Moka is a box full of surprises. On one hand, you have a sweet and affectionate girl who makes you adore her shortly after meeting her, and on the other, you have the wild "Inner Moka," a much tougher, more direct woman with no time for nonsense. It would be to deny the obvious that the majority of her clients aren't morbidly attracted to this duality in one of the club's most spectacular vampires. So Moka doesn't have to do much to stand out and secure a steady supply of blood, which her clients gladly pay for.
