TLK semi-cannon challenge
I'm not part of the TLK gang but I used to like drawing TLK and even had a littlle story for the semi cannon chars...I just don't post it here often ^^'
Anyway, here's my interpretation of them!
URU
In this story she isn't Askari (Scar) and Mufasa's mother, but their aunt. Their mother (and original queen) was her sister, a massive lioness named Damu. They are both daughters of Mohatu and as such, carry the royal blood. Uru went off to live as a rogue and came back to the pridelands to rule until Mufasa came of age. She has a poor relationship with her nephews. She is the mother of Sarafina.
AHADI
The queen's consort and Scar and Mufasa's father. Ahadi was promised to the eldest of Mohatu's daughters before they were even born. His original pride is very religious, and Ahadi worships the stars as the Great Kings of the Past, believing the path to immortality to be among them. He shares his beliefs with his sons, and is his goal to make them both Great Kings. Ahadi is very proud of both Askari and Mufasa and spoils them, getting in constant arguments with Uru over their behavior.
MHEETU
Scar sired Mheetu with his cousin Sarafina in order to better control her and her daughter, the lionesses who could defy his position as king with their own royal blood and were already being a threat by slaying hyenas and raising the hopes of their pridesisters. Mheetu was a weak cub, and died of starvation due to Scar's poor management of the kingdom. His death was the final straw for Nala, leading to her escape, along with Tama.
KOPA
Kopa is Simba’s youngest son, sporting his father early design (also I wanted him to resemble both Nala and Sarabi).
With his sister being the future queen and his brother being the leader of the Lion Guard, Kopa had always worried about his future; he lacked ambition but wanted to be useful somehow, unlike his best friend Afua, whom were perfectly fine with his carefree life. Kopa’s resent towards Kion begun after the older brother formed his Guard, without even considering him (according to Kion, he wasn’t good at anything). After being excluded, Kopa begun treating Kion like the other doesn’t exist, which was reciprocated by the older brother.
AFUA
Son of Tama and a rogue she met while on the run with Nala. Afua is one lion whom everyone adores and he knows it. Popular with lionesses, lions, and even other felines, Kopa is extremely jealous of him and Afua likes this. He can be pretty manipulative.
THEO
The eldest of four cubs, and the runt. Theo is eager to rule as she believes she can make some changes for the better, but has a hard time to make herself heard. She relies on her stronger, more dominant siblings.
