That moment would remain burned in the puma's memory forever - the feelings, the scents, the sounds, the sights, everything around and inside her was overwhelming her senses.
It was the first time she felt a mate inside her, and the first time she felt the warmth of seed in her belly.
All that with the most unlikely companion.
When the Puma paladin had freed the Displacer Beast from poachers, she'd just wanted to help a trapped animal return to his family.
She would have never imagined they'd share their first mating together in the middle of that quest.
And a few moments before, her mind was still leagues away from that idea.
Yet so fond the young puma had become of her otherworldly companion, it only took a small nudge for her heat to light a bonfire in her heart and belly - to which the Displacer Beast's primal instincts promptly reacted.
The paladin had gone from never having entertained sexual thoughts about her companion to having him inside her in a matter of minutes, and her mind was still catching up on her instincts breaking wild.
But as sudden as the situation was, it all felt so right to the puma adventurer. With the beast's tensing muscles all around her, his paws holding her gently but firmly, his deep growls above her head, beyond all the intense sexual satisfaction, the young puma just felt safe. She trusted her Displacer Beast companion with all her heart, and was delighted to share this wonderful moment of bonding with him.
And yet, for the kind puma that would not be the only surprise stemming from that day. She would soon discover that being intimate with a magical beast could have unexpected consequences.
For when a couple of months later she managed to track down the Displacer Beast's family, she brought her beloved companion with her, and a few more future family members growing in her round belly ...
