I generally don’t fully understand with what you mean by “exhibitionism” as a kink, since almost all of the time you avoid your characters exposing themselves to people without their consent, which, well, good, but also I thought that was a major part of exhibitionism? It’s like this: you have a fear that people will judge you or be upset about you being naked, but stronger than that fear is an impulse to just be naked because you have a deeper feeling that they actually won’t mind or, even better, will like it. Then, you choose to act instead of being afraid, only to find everyone is actually chill with you being naked, and sometimes, even you being sexual. That’s the dream scenario
I’m sure there are some people who get off to being naked in front of people without their consent and when it disgusts them but that is NOT what funkybun is going for at all in her comics.

It can also been seen as this: The person exhibiting themselves likely are attracted to the people in their environment, the people in their environment are typically also attracted to the person exhibiting themselves, this leads to a net positive in attractiveness leading to a group mood of attractiveness which can turn into well, sex
