An elastic, tight-fitting, and usually sheer piece of legwear that covers from the waist to the feet. Usually made of nylon and worn under a skirt or shorts.
Do not confuse with stockings. After all, the word "pantyhose" is a combination of "panties" and "hose" (hosiery).

- translucent_pantyhose - While real pantyhose is usually translucent, fictional ones may vary. Consider tagging tights if the garment is very opaque though, and not part of lingerie.
