Yes let's blame the President for the wrongs that CONGRESS has done. Everything is done by CONGRESS not the president, he merely signs the bills they pass unless he vetoes it. CONGRESS the whore of the corporations, the drug manufacturing establishment and the foreign governments is the real problem.

But Americans just keep on re-electing the same people who caused the problem in the first place. Congress has done everything it could to destroy this country since 1960 or thereabouts. It is not hard to look at the changes they have made since then and see it.

The Bailey decision by the Supreme Court in 1933 was the death knell of the former America. The Constitution clearly states that congress has 18 delegated powers, the 18th was to make laws necessary and proper to carry out the other 17. and until FDR our first Communist President, that was the accepted meaning of the 18th power.

The Bailey decision changed the entire meaning to mean that Congress could make ANY LAWS it thought necessary and proper to do ANYTHING. Thus allowing the country to be run by the dictarorship of 526 with a figurehead President. The President makes NO laws, they are made by Congress.The dictatorship today is 100 plus 430 because of the addition of Alaska and Hawaii as states.

The schools now under control of the Federal Govt due to the funding by same under the Dept of Education or its changeable title, have done such a good job of brainwashing and covering up the truth over the last 50 years, that hardly any young people have any concept of what this country was like and the true freedom we used to have.

I have seen falsified history in various places. I know it is false because I was there at the time and know what really happened.

I can only say RIP America as it was intended.

 

I think it would be wonderful, it sure would send a message that we're fed up with him and the direction the country is going in...However, I'd be very surprised to see it happen!!!

 

Now, to me, that doesn't make a lick of fucking sense.

Why even bother impeaching a man that has just a little over a year left in office, and once the election hits in 2008, you'll never have to deal with him again. Plus, kicking his ass to the curb isn't going to solve anything. The insurgents and terrorists in Iraq aren't suddenly going to say to themselves "What? The American's have impeached George W. Bush? Hurray!!! We will stop attempting to kill everyone now." If anything, it would probably make them step up the attacks, thinking that the American's are weak and confused without someone running the country.

That's what I think, but I suppose you should take it with a grain of salt considering that I'm Canadian and all.

 

AByrne what you must realize is that in his last year of office he can do whatever he pleases.
He will be out of a job in 12 months so that is typically the time a president will try to force through his own agenda.

 

A national strike? Yeah, that's going to work.... Once the Dems got Bush out of office, how would they handle President Chaney?? LOL

The approval rating of congress is down to 14% which is less than half of what Bush's is. You won't read about that in the Washington Post or NY Times.

I took years to try impeaching Clinton for getting a blow job in the oval office. How is a national versoin of senior ditch day going to accomplish this?

Okay, but that still leaves me with the question of "What do you intend to do if you successfully remove him from office?"

To begin with, though my knowledge of the impeachment process is a little fuzzy, doesn't Chaney then take over as President for the remainder of the term? If that's the case, then you won't see any change at all if you are one of the people that believe that Chaney has been running the show all along. Plus, as I said before, simply removing Dubya from office isn't going to fix any of the mistakes and messes that he has made. Iraq will still be there, as fucked up as it was before.

 

Meh. It wouldn't solve anything.
