Description

This is an image I made using two source images provided with this post. I love the artwork done for Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons; but I dislike that their art teams never put in a suitable background for their works. So... I felt it would be suitable to add one myself! Let me know what you think! ^_^

That gnoll has a look of "what the hell man" on his face.

Well, I didn't draw the original character model. I just cleaned it up a bit, chose a suitable background, and placed him into it. Most of what I did was basic touch up. Nothing too extensive.

And you did a damn good job. Wasn't a critique, just thought it rather funny.

The arrow's not even pulled back yet. o.o He's just loosely holding it against the draw string. >.>

String's on the wrong side of his arm. He literally won't be able to draw it without letting go and gripping it from the correct side.

Really? You both see a male? I see female. . . . Huh. . . . Although, you, Lucred, are quite correct. Did not notice that at first. . . .Almost enough to ruin it, but it's so rare to see an actually properly designed and proportioned bow in these kinds of artwork.

It's androgynous enough I pretty much just flipped a coin.

And yeah bows are hard to draw right, especially if the artist doesn't have first hand experience with one.

Nah, that's a female. You can just see breasts, which Pathfinder DOES give to female gnolls to distinguish them. (post #758040)

Yep! Gnoll Warden artwork from the Monster Codex. I am just posting all of those separately without background here.
