BlockedSo the commissioner was asking for a cub knot. Accidentally hit "e" after the "b".

BlockedJust like with humans, there is a lot of individual variance, but this is the right idea.

BlockedUsually they are a bit more high definition in real life. The artist did a good depiction though.

MemberAs others have said it is a reasonable representation which I completely agree with, and every dog is slightly different although most share common traits within a breed. The veins tend to be more pronounced in a fully erect penis than what is shown at the top but as the penis colour changes the longer they are erect what is shown is quiet reasonable soon after erection begins. The only other thing is in most dogs you wouldn't see that much penis root as the sheath is usually being held back by the knot so they knot and sheath tend to be pressed against each other. But again some dogs have loose sheaths but it isn't overly common.
Also the penis shape changes from quite pointy (easy to slip into the female) when starting to get hard, to noticably blunter/squarer as the knot swells and the urethra that little tube bit at the end can become less prominent at the same time in some breeds.
There is a website dedicated to male animals it is hosted by zoohaven but it is NOT a zoo/beast site, it just has aroused male animals no humans and is an excelant reference for drawing truly anatomically correct males.
