    Is Rivenlod disabling it on purpose?

    EDIT: No, the ring isn't.
    Page 14. Rivenlod likely used some kind of 'suggestion' to get Mark to make that amulet he's holding. It may be defective by design.

    Dude really needs to do some stress testing in a safer place next time.
    I don't know, is there the equivalent of a magical wind tunnel mark can use at that university he's with?
