  • This week's fun animal fact: (some) turtles can breathe through their butts. Australian freshwater turtles are able to breathe underwater because they posses a pair of special organs called cloacal bursae. These organs are lined with finger-line extensions that are filled with blood vessels. The cloacal bursae can be filled with water, and the blood vessels can exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide with the water (like underwater lungs that get dissolved oxygen from the water). however, most species of sea turtles don't have them, and not many species of freshwater turtle have them either.

I will be back next week with another fun animal fact.

Bonus fact: why Greenland is called Greenland even though it all Ice? is because back then whenever a sailor or exploiters find a new land they named after whatever they see, When the viking found a land (now is Iceland) they called it Iceland because one viking name Flóki climbed a mountain and saw a fjord (Arnarfjörður) full of icebergs, which led him to give the island its new and present name, another reason is they believed it would discourage over-settlement of their verdant island, until one day, a viking name Erik the Red got exiled from the land, he sail and sail till he found what is today Greenland, but sadly for him it was well all Iced, but then he got an ideas to named it Greenland hoping it would attract settlers, and it work, many sail to Greenland hoping for a beautiful land of Green just to met with an literally Helheim, but many scientists today discovered that Greenland was indeed green more than 2,5 million years ago.

    Extra bonus fact about Greenland:
The country has an arctic tundra climate with average temperatures that don't rise above 5.6°C in the warmest summer months, but can drop to an average of -18°C in the north during winter.

Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

Yea, can't really tell someone to be patient after nearly 2 years of bait/switching.

However, on her patreon, she made a statement saying there's gonna be no more teasing, so it's a fairly safe assumption that there's not gonna be any more bait/switching and interruptions. With that said, hooly hell, there's a LOT to unpack with that statement.
