Is it bad that Misu is making me root for the Guild less over time?

You should check the comments on the older comics. She was quite divisive.

  • First of all, love the project and the road the history is taking

Second is a question, there are plans for the other side comics like "And then? "or "we live here too"?

    That's fair
Honestly when you're willing to admit that you're running a sex cult, that's... I dunno, I kinda stop wanting the Guild to succeed if the people trying to save it are not willing to actually improve themselves as people in the process-

  • Huh. This could either reach to an interesting happy end or to a full on catastrophy. I wonder which one it will be...

I would say, it's quite a question if they should replace. On one hand, they're obviously causing some discontent around, but on the other they're still getting the jobs and doing them, and so far the debauchery seems to be rather contained than not.

Honestly, I think if they get to buy the build that would actually be better, because it would mean they get to keep their place, and the official guild can make another one, allowing us to eventually see if the clients are a result of having no choice but to go to them or they're genuinely choosing them.

I'm honestly sort of interested in if they'll address whether or not them operating as an unlicensed Guild, should the buyout work, would be considered a violation of some sort of code, though that's purely just me spitballing since how the Explorers Association works has always been vague both in this context and in the games (though that is also a sort of symptom of existing purely for a single game).

    Privileged

It is kind of difficult to tell whether Misu is being some sly big-brained tactician, or an over-confident, cocky lout. Ryn has stuck it out with her since her past guild issues, and she's managed to get a successful guild going (their current money problems being deliberate attempts by Erron to sabotage their success), so she's got something going for her, but something just makes this seem... too easy in a way? Maybe I'm giving Erron too much credit, but with Misu being so sure she has Erron pegged, I'm not sure what to expect for the outcome.

To me, it seems less that she's "admitting" to running a sex cult, and more just throwing back what they're perceived as. They undoubtedly like and have a lot of sex while doing their work. Does that make them a sex cult? Depends on who you ask.
