EMERGENCY Please read... I am a bit embarrassed to even be asking assistance for this reason but... I was recently served court summons from a credit card debt collector company. Back in 2018 my father passed away, I was in a car accident, had to have emergency surgery to remove my wisdom teeth, and then laid off my job. My world came crumbling down. I have constantly been in a state of being behind in life because of this. I always made my payments on time but had to stop making payments on all of my credit cards in 2018 because of life's hardships. I had since enrolled in a debt relief program where I am doing my best to pay down all of my debts and it is a slow going process. With it being a bit of a slow process, I had a feeling one of the companies would become aggressive with their action toward me. I don't know what to do. I am speaking to legal counsel and have 21 days starting from 4/9/25 to submit a response. I am still in financial ruin climbing my way back up to
