MemberI think Viv's issues with her having syphilis is that it implies Loona's had sex. Viv has expressed a lot of distaste for the NSFW art of Loona and maybe retconning it was some means of trying to desexualize the character, which has been about as effective as pissing on a forest fire. I didn't even consider it being a hugely sexual thing at first, I thought it was just a part of being in Hell and how much suffering the symptoms of syphilis cause.
