It's meant to be Clawhauser from Zootopia, though I don't know whether I captured his likeness, but I can only do so much.
I used multiply and overlay layers while painting in order to make the occlusion shadows and whatnot, tbh I'm not too fond of using blend-layers, partly because they're really hard to use (in certain cases, like this one, they were the easier option since I dindn't plan out the painting too well) as well as me liking the freedom of blending and shading with whatever colour I damn please. But I also dislike them due to a sense of purity. Not to discredit anyone who uses blend-layers, excellent artists like Aaron Blaise use them to great effect, but personally it feels a bit too digital.
Overall I don't know how to feel about this painting, it's decent (I think?) but part of me isn't too happy with how it came out. I also spent way too much time painting it, I've been trying to paint more... how should I call it? messy? by that I mean trying to paint without getting distracted into making the edges seem nice and clear.
