The analysis also suggests the controversial mandate is "associated with" more than one in six of 5,780 nursing deaths statewide between late March and early May.

Someone needs to look into Cuomo’s influence on surrounding states, if you remember, early in the pandemic Cuomo ordered COVID-19 patients into nursing homes. He was touted by Biden as the “Gold Standard” in governors leading the fight. Well now it turns out is wasn’t the best thing to do, so bad that his own party has turned on him for trying to hide the number of deaths.

Well it looks like his neighboring states followed his lead, almost 1/3 of all COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes occurred in those 9 states. This is equal to over 10% of all COVID-19 deaths in the US.
