about me
This is the type of a content I'm well known for, if anyone here knows me.
I mainly make sfw comics that are intended to be funny, and contain occasional gross scenes (usually gross as in germs-related?)
Idk if my style meet the needs of people here... My sense of humour is a little particular. But at least you can enjoy cute-looking characters for sure.
I'm more comfortable to add colours to texts in order to indicate who's speaking rather than adding speech bubbles. In this case, blue (or light blue) is for Pompo, and green (or dark green) is for Laichi.
Well this one has following pages but I want to wait until this one gets approved. (And if it won't, I'll skip following pages and move on to uploading next episodes because if the first page is missing, all of the following will make little sense.)
about the story
First thing first, the character with brown fur is named Pompo, the one with yellow fur is Laichi, and you can ignore about the bunny because he doesn't appear again.
That being said, I wrote short descriptions of each of them.
Pompo
Again, one with the brown fur is Pompo.
He is a tanuki. He's 30. Briefly, he's a manchild struggling to find a job. He's very stupid and immature in both good and bad ways. (But usually I intend to play his dorkiness for laughs.)
He's a hedonist, meaning he loves instant pleasures like eating, sleeing, and sexual pleasures of course, but usually at the expense of others.
So, before this page, he was living with his parents, doing nothing but playing video-games and being lazy.
But after he started to live with Laichi, he tries to get a job for the first time. Mainly because a)they love each other, b) Pompo got already kicked out of his parents' house and has nowhere else to live in if Laichi does the same.
You can like him for his jolly personality, and may sympathize with him because he's got verbally abused most of the time... or you can dislike him for irresponsible and immature behaviour like always whining about his jobs...
Laichi
He's the other one, the one with yellow fur.
He is a fox. He's 28 (2 years younger than Pompo.)
It's hard to give a brief explanation about him...
He has 2 children, one of whom he doesn't live with. His wife is already gone btw.
Before this page takes place, he was pretty abusive towards his children both phyically and verbally. And although he has an actual job unlike Pompo, he is alcoholic and he doesn't have any friends (besides Pompo.)
After he started to live with Pompo, he started to feel ashamed of his own abusive behaviour, so he tries to improve himself... He is still very mean to everyone, if not abusive though.
Initially I installed this character as a villain, so he is intentionally unlikable. But you might like him because of how he tries to improve...(?) Well, at least he is rich and competent unlike the other one.
duo
They are quite different in both visuals and personalities. And they have a sort of love-hate relationship where they always want to be apart but once they actually do so, they struggle with anxiety and loneliness.
lores
- adult_(lore) = Pompo and Laichi. Both are almost 30.
- male_(lore) = all of my characters. (Usually tagged on sfw posts.)
- father_(lore) = Laichi is the biological father of Yume
- stepfather_(lore) = Pompo is Yume's stepfather, (as well as Laichi's spouse.)
- grandfather_(lore) = this refers to Laichi's parent. (Yume's grandfather)
